Mar 31 - paperwork an tings a gwon mon

So I can just get two years of bank records for my wife's interview so easily. Gotta call the bank tomorrow. Pain in the ass!! I thought I was already approved to sponsor??!@!!

Called my wife 3 times today actually. 9:55, 10:00 am, then 12:30 pm. At 9-10 they were around the fire (zai huo something), it's cold there. 10'C. No indoor heating will do that to you. I explained how it's 1'C and it's no problem. She was a bit perplexed.

I taught her how to say "10 pm China time." It was hard for her to pick up because I said it fast. But that's how she'll learn easier.

Sunday 8:40 am - I called my wife just before going to my Muay Thai white test, to say hi and explain I couldn't call until after 12:00. It was raining pretty hard at her parents. It was raining here in TO too.

Sunday 12:20ish pm Called my wife after my test, she was asleep already.

Monday 12:15 am My wife was watching TV with her parents. She won't be able to return until next Sunday, and she's complaining that it's cold there, it's about 12'C. But of course there is no indoor heating so it's about 10'C inside. The wind was strong and I could hear a rooster sounding off a couple of times. I made a joke that the rooster was my friend, since her friends gave me the nickname "tie gong-ji" translated means "iron rooster" which in Chinese means I'm cheap. I'm a value investor that's all.

No MSN this week

My wife is at her parents. If she had a smart phone I think we could text MSN, but we just talked instead. A few times actually. I'd call, then call her back 10 minutes later so she could go to the washroom. There is some festival going on in her area, it's not related to the lantern festival.

It's a diamond crapper!!! I wonder if thieves would take it, like if before you left the house you took a big dump and then just left it there. You can't exactly put this in a safe.



I just recently watched Slumdog Millionaire. Watch it when you get a chance, you won't feel like you've wasted your time. I think I'll give a copy to the Canadian Immigration Overseers opps I mean Officers.

called my wife today, she was complaining about the cost of getting all the paperwork done again for her interview, and getting them notarized.

She called me just about 2 hours ago, wanting to confirm the spelling of my full name which she needed for some reason, so I txt'd her.

A guy I work with, based in Texas asked me when she's coming over and told me it's been a long time....I F**KING KNOW THAT!!!! LOL

talked to my wife from work today. I taught her the word "village" (cun, or cunhuang) of course with her accent it sounds like "willage"

Called my wife from work. She was at her parents in Guizhou. She used a lot of english because they were listening in. It's not hard in a small house with concrete floors.

She used the word "question". I never taught her this, not sure where she learned it. I think she'll learn English quickly once she gets enrolled in a half decent course. She still has a heavy accent. I remember when she was bitching out her brother for having an accent when they were learning English. It was too funny.

I tried to call my wife from work, but her phone was "Guan-ji", or so the recorded voice told me. "Sorry, the subscriber you have dialed is switch off now"

So I sent a text message.

I can't speak English f****kk!!

Something funny happened today. I was getting my hair cut at the barber shop run by a Chinese couple. They speak Chinese to me, I speak a little back. Some other immigrants came in (I'm surrounded by immigrants around here, except my wife) when I was in mid hair cut, and not saying anything. These immigrants (emm..Canadians)....spoke Persian (Farsi) I'm pretty sure as their native tongue.

As I was leaving, the hair dresser spoke Chinese too me, and I was acknowledging and listening.

The look on the Persians' face was priceless. They couldn't understand how a white boy was understanding wtf the hair dresser was saying. As in they thought they were hearing Chinese, but I was understanding, so it had to be English, like "Shit, I can't understand English...Am I ok??....F***K!!!" :)

MARCH 21 - Saturday night

Wife doesn't want to MSN. She has to get going to the airport to go to Guizhou. Getting paperwork to immigrate means going through your own personal version of the Great Race or whatever that 'reality' TV show is called.

It's early Saturday morning, and my wife just woke me up to MSN. Was supposed to be 8. I am tired!!!

We talked more about the billion and one paperwork requirements she must bring AGAIN to the interview and then some. Myself included. Doesn't make sense. Why did it take 8 months to get an interview? Why don't they just call, have you bring paperwork, and go from there?

talked to my wife today at work. She is getting ready to help her friend unpack who is returning to Dongguan from Nanjing.

I showed my wife some green tea I bought here locally that you can buy in China. Don't really like the brand...she drinks 1 bottle of green tea a day.

I have this blemish/scab just above my eyebrow, she kept talking about it. So I put on my hat.

Mar 16 - 12:05 am

talked to my wife again just now. We were going to MSN. But she is still asleep, she likes to sleep until noon. She can sleep 12 hours at a time, I'm not sure how. She is going to sleep a little more, then wake up. So I am going to bed soon and we'll dream together.

MAR 14-15

Saturday night - I just got back from my sister's. It was about 12:30ish. I was going to go to my friend Sean's but he wasn't home - he's the one who gave me the shirt you see. My wife is getting ready to shower.

Then we MSN'd again in the morning when I got up.

My wife hurt her ankle. She sprained it or twisted it. She was walking in her heels. She then had to call her friend to come help her to the hospital.

She was made at me because she said she tried to call and my phone had no signal. Chinese HATE voicemail I'm pretty sure.

My wife and I talked...oh yeah, when she gets her visa, she wants to come ASAP. Doesn't matter where I am, I'm the primary purpose of her leaving China. Just so happens that I'm in Canada. She is excited that she will get a chance to learn English really well, it's hard to find half decent places to learn English in China, unless you're in a kick ass university. She couldn't go, she supported her family instead. She also mentioned she wants to work 2 jobs, and possibly start her own business in something clothing related. This would create employment!!!

I got an email from my mother, telling me to 'be milder.' I shouldn't be afraid to express my opinions should I?????

Thanks to the Canadian government, this is how I spent my birthday this year. Thank God I have a webcam. My wife sang Happy Birthday to me. She wants to get his and her watches for me for my birthday but wants to get expensive watches in Hong Kong. She loves that kind of his and her stuff. I don't get it, I can get watches from the markets in Shenzhen for 1/10 the price and they last forever.

We argued a little actually. Her MSN is messed up, she says she doesn't see me when I'm on MSN. I'm not so sure.

Talked to my wife briefly today from work. She was complaining about the cold there, it's +10'C!!! Here it's -15'C!!!

I talked to my wife today (as per usual). We talked about having kids, and trying to control them in other people's houses so they don't damage things, since we had the same thing happen to us. She is afraid to bring them to other people's houses.

F**K the Uyghurs in Guantanamo

You can google about these goofs and how Canada wants to let them in the country. I don't care that they were subjected to 'illegal' torture in Guantanamo, if the US was interested in them enough to pick them up and ship them to Cuba then obviously they were involved in some shady and destructive -anti-human- business. Don't forget that. I never got picked up for the Guantanamo express, wonder why....maybe because I'm not a fricken' rat terrorist that's why.

But instead of giving them back to China who wants them, they will get priority over my wife to come here. F**KING BULLSH!T. They are only going to make money here, and then send it back home to support anti Chinese activities and terrorism.

Maybe China should let Al Qaeda over the border from Afghanistan into China....hmm???

My friend came up to watch some Muay Thai fights Sunday.

I had to explain to her we were going to watch Marquez vs. Diaz Saturday night and the sports bar we go to has all old people mostly. Lots of character, but definitely no girsl.
